Let us not neglect to discipline our precious kiddos

I wanted to share this great, convicting & encouraging quote with you...
"Far better that children should cry under healthful correction, than that
parents should afterwards cry under the bitter fruit to themselves and
children, of neglected discipline." -Charles Bridges
Reminds me of Proverbs 13:24
Blessings!

  1. Here's another great quote by puritan, John Flavel, "If you neglect to instruct them in the way of holiness, will the devil neglect to instruct them in the way of wickedness? No, no, if you will not teach them to pray, he will teach them to curse, swear, and lie. If ground be uncultivated, weeds will spring up....If the season of youth is neglected, how little probability is there of any good fruit afterwards? Youth is the moulding age....a twig is brought to any form, but grown limbs will not bend" -The Mystery of Providence

There's more great truths in that section of the book...even though we're not parents, they convicted our soul of our one-day responsibility to raise our children to fear the Lord.
